Tazetta was founded in 2008

The story of our studio begins in the northwest suburbs of Chicago where Tazetta Photography quickly became one of the top-rated photographers in Chicagoland. In 2017, we moved our studio to Cincinnati, where we expanded in 2020 to our largest and most state-of-the-art facility yet. The tradition of delivering beautiful custom photography and extraordinary customer service to our many amazing clients continues.

2400 square feet of luxury studio space

The main shooting area is perfect for our photo sessions. Along with our lighting, there is plenty of room for multiple set ups so that sessions run smoothly and offer plenty of variety. The main newborn space has a comfy nook for parent viewing. Between the shooting areas there is a spacious restroom and changing room. We are so excited to now have a fabulous lifestyle room with beautiful natural light and a bed and chair. This gorgeous neutral room can be styled for any season, color scheme, style, or theme.

Viewing the final result

The in-person reveal starts with a special slideshow set to music, followed by seeing your gorgeous images. We will help you select the images and products you love. We have special software to help you visualize exactly how your images will look on your walls. Tazetta Photography has a carefully curated collection of luxurious products, along with ideas and inspiration. Top that off with our excellent customer service you will leave your reveal appointment excited about the beautiful tangible art that you will enjoy displaying in your home and sharing with loved ones.

We have a huge prop room filled with hundreds of unique backdrops, floor drops, props, accessories, and more! Newborn specialty

Tazetta photography offers an exceptional full-service experience for your newborn portrait session. We have a great collection of quality props, backdrops, wraps, clothing and accessories so each of our newborn sessions can be carefully and creatively custom designed. We help you select gorgeous products to showcase your precious portraits. With years of experience and extensive education and training in handling and posing newborns, you can relax knowing that your baby is in good hands. Tazetta Photography is a licensed and insured professional boutique portrait studio and we have won numerous awards and have excellent reviews.

Tazetta Photography offers different options for locations, as well. My name is Susan and I am a photographer now based in the Cincinnati area. I have a B.A. in Elementary Education. I have six wonderful children. I love working with kids and families. I will work hard to get amazing and creative images for you.

FAQ

Why the name TAZETTA?

The most popular companion of the tulip, daffodils (Tazetta) are spring flowering bulbs mostly known as yellow trumpet-shaped flowers. However, daffodils offer a wider range of flower shapes and colors that are absolutely fabulous combined with other spring bulbs. Planted in fall, they produce white, cream, pink, orange, or red flowers year after year. Most daffodils are sweetly perfumed and make beautiful cut flowers. This flower represents the beauty in life! My son found this name for me and I thought it would be the perfect name for a photography studio that specializes in newborns because they are each so fresh, unique, beautiful, and sweet!

Can I bring my own props to the photo session?

Tazetta studio is bursting with prop options that have been carefully selected for style, size, and safety. We do ask that clients trust our experience and knowledge in choosing the props for the session and to keep their personal props for at-home personal photos.

Do you offer photography classes?

Tazetta studio has a variety of educational opportunities for both children and adults. We offer classes at our dedicated education space at the studio and we offer virtual (remote) education. Please check out our Education and Resources sections on the website and contact us with any questions.

What do we wear to our photo session?

Coordinating outfits can be a daunting task, but don’t worry, we are here to help. We will work closely with you to style your photo session to perfection.
